Taj Mahal

I have decided to create the Taj Mahal because it is a unique building with delicate detail and I wanted to set myself a challenge. I chose to enter in the ART: SEE THE WORLD challenge because I am fascinated in seeing the world and I love to travel, so I thought this was an appropriate challenge for me. The thing I have made can be used as a decorative piece around the house, or a piece to get motivation to travel. I made my thing all from scratch with only a picture for inspiration. At first I was not too sure if I had the right measurements for everything but after completing it I am quite happy with the outcome. Making this thing took a lot of time, patience and effort, but while it was a difficult challenge, I enjoyed making it and finding out a lot about the Taj Mahal’s history. Due to small measurement difficulties I had to redesign the main dome to make it the right shape.
