Tamiya Sand Rover Engine Set

This was designed for a project of mine based on the original version of the Tamiya Sand Rover , to use it as such you need to remove the fibre glass leaf spring and use coil over shocks .
Although designed for this project it could be used in a variety of beetle engine models and has a very simple mounting underneath that could be adapted as you need .
It can be printed in both resin or FDM , the detail in resin of the engine cooling fins is superb in my humble opinion , the pictured resin print is of an earlier version without the fan housing at the rear but you get the picture , the other pictures of it fitted to the Sand Rover are FDM printed in Polycarbonate , if it looks good in PC then I imagine a good PLA print could be much better .
