In SolidWorks, this practice model sketches were created with the tools line, smart dimension, centerline, circle, straight slot and fillet. The tools boss extrude, cut extrude, fillet, and circular pattern were used to make this model 3D. I changed its material to 1060 alloy to finish it off. When I first looked at this model's blueprint, I guessed that the best way to start it was to create its sketch on the front plane and revolve it around a vertical centerline to create the main body. I believe that doing this is key as it makes the process easier. If I were to create this model again, I would have been more careful on where I clicked when smart dimensioning a certain part.
