Tank Flow Simulation

This project presents a flow simulation of a storage tank designed and analyzed using CAD and CFD simulation tools. The model illustrates the internal geometry of the tank, including several baffle plates positioned inside the enclosure to control fluid movement and improve flow distribution. The transparent outer box represents the simulation domain, while the internal components demonstrate the flow-control structure within the tank. The objective of this simulation is to evaluate the fluid flow behavior, velocity distribution, and flow trajectories inside the tank. The baffles are incorporated to reduce turbulence, minimize dead zones, and promote a more uniform flow pattern throughout the tank volume. Flow simulation results can be used to analyze pressure variations, identify potential recirculation regions, and optimize the tank design for improved performance and efficiency. This model is suitable for educational, research, and engineering applications involving fluid mechanics, process equipment design, mixing systems, and CFD analysis. The simulation provides valuable insights into how internal structures influence fluid movement and overall tank operation.
