A pretty alternate to apple pie! Very fun to make. I used this person's pie crust recipe and tips: https://www.handletheheat.com/best-ever-pie-crust/ And the filling amounts are 1 apple diced small, 1 Tablespoon flour, 1 Tablespoon brown sugar, 1/2 - 1 teaspoon cinnamon (this fills about 7 or 8 tartlets, increase as necessary for however many you are making). Roll the crust, cut out tartlet shapes, scoop a spoonful of the apple mixture into the center of each one, fold up tartlet petals, if desired brush with water and sprinkle with sugar crystals and cinnamon, bake at 350 (f) for 30-40 minutes, and ENJOY! They don't last long! A double batch of the above mentioned recipe makes 30 tartlets (along with 4 medium sized granny smith apples).
