Frame is a sandwich composite and figured the ends would delaminate on impacts so armguards might help..2 versions since if you're building this you're concerned with grams..One with motor protection weighs 4.2 grams each @10% infill and the lightweight version sans motor protection weighs in at 2 grams..approximately..YPMV
