Tea Box V2

This is my **new tea box**.

This time not with a sliding lid, but with a hinged lid with a simple latch.
**The lid has to be printed standing on its side**, because the latch is a bit under tension and would break otherwise.

The letters are broken apart after printing and glued into the recesses of the lid.
A piece of PLA filament with a diameter of 1.75mm serves as the axis for the hinge.
The holes of the hinge may need to be drilled out, I use a 2mm drill for this. Push the filament through the holes in the box and lid, and cut it so that it protrudes 3-4mm at both ends. Heat a screwdriver or similar with a lighter or Bunsen burner etc. and melt the ends of the filament.

Dieses Mal nicht mit einem Schiebedeckel, sondern mit einem Klappdeckel mit einfachem Verschluss.
**Der Deckel muss auf der Seite stehend gedruckt werden**, da der Riegel etwas unter Spannung steht und sonst brechen würde.
