The Motor in my Corally Python heats up to 95 degrees celsius after driving for 20 minutes continously (50% - 80% throttle). The holes in the back of the Body are ok, but I thought it might be a good idea to optimize airflow. So I designed this based on the original stickers. Printing with flexible filament (TPU) highly recommended.
Assembling:
Fix the template with a bit of glue to the body from the inside and then use a marker to paint the cutouts. I used an exacto knife to cut out and a rasp to smoothen the edges. Once it fits, I used superglue to fix it.
Oh btw, I'm driving just onroad. If you are driving offroad, I probably would not recommend it. ;)
Update after first usage:
Seems to me like this Mod is pretty effective. Top temperature before was 95 degrees celsius. After some bashing yesterday with (almost*) same conditions, the motor do not exceed 65 degrees celsius.
*The fan I was using before created too much vibrations, so I replaced it with a new one (same b
