This is a tool which you can use to collimate your Svbony (or other model) laser collimator for your Newtonian telescope. Just lay your laser collimator in the tool. Then use a clamp to clamp it to the table you are using (clamp not included sorry - recommend screw down clamp for tightness). Then turn your laser collimator and if its collimated the laser should stay at a relatively fixed point on the wall (the longer you project the point the more precise the collimation). If the laser point goes in a circle while you turn the collimator then its out of collimation. Adjust the screws which hold the laser until the point is relatively fixed while you to turn the collimator. It will never be perfect, but just try to get it so the point moves only just a little bit while you turn the collimator. Then you have successfully collimated your laser collimator. Store somewhere it won't get moved, jostled, or dropped, to keep the collimation. Test periodically.
