Makes
A replacement for plastic bags when making tempeh at home. It's more environment friendly, provide better air flow to your tempeh culture and of course reusable.
Lid can be printed without support.
Version 1 of the container requires support but version 2 doesn't require support and it contains more holes. You only need to print the lid and one of the two containers.
How to use?
After mixing your soy beans with tempeh culture, fill 60% to 70% of the container and cover with the lid then keep in 34 degree (c) for 24 hour.
Q/A:
Is it safe to place food in PLA plastic container?
PLA plastic itself is 100% safe for food but manufacturers can add some additives to PLA filament that may or may not make it safe for food. Use at your own risk and if you will use it, please be sure to at least wash it first.
Is it easy to wash?
Yes very easy. Tempeh doesn't stick to it at all. Just a little bit of washing with soap and sponge will be enough.
I've made tempeh with it
