3D Printing Temperature Tower Filament Calibration Test for PLA and PETG What Is a Temperature Tower? A 3D printing temperature tower is a calibration model designed with multiple temperature zones to help identify the ideal nozzle temperature for a specific filament. By printing a single model with different temperature changes, you can clearly evaluate print quality variations and select the optimal temperature for your material. Why Use This Temperature Tower? This model allows you to fine-tune your printer settings efficiently while saving time and filament. It helps you: Reduce stringing and oozing Improve layer adhesion Optimize overhang and bridging performance Achieve consistent surface quality Dial in the real printing temperature of your filament Compatible Materials This temperature tower is suitable for testing the following materials: PLA PETG If you wish to print it in ABS or TPU, additional tuning and proper printer setup (such as using an enclosure or reduced print speeds) may be required. Printer Compatibility Designed for Anycubic printers and fully compatible with most FDM 3D printers using standard slicing software. How to Use the Temperature Tower Download or open the project file corresponding to the filament you want to test (PLA or PETG). When opening the .3MF file in Anycubic Slicer, you will receive a warning indicating that the printer profile contains modified G-code. This is expected and confirms that you have opened the correct file. Once the file is loaded, click on “Slice Plate” and then “Print Plate”. IMPORTANT Do not modify any settings in the Anycubic application before printing. Any changes may affect the pre-configured temperature changes included in the project file. The only setting that can be safely modified is the build plate type, if needed. Design Features Compact vertical design to save material Stable base for reliable bed adhesion Integrated temperature labels for easy reading No supports required Optimized for 0.4 mm n
