Tension Rod Support Bracket

I have a tension rod in a doorway that kept falling down so I whipped this bracket together that would help keep the tension rod in place and prevent it from coming down. The screws I used are #8 x 1 5/8" drywall screws (Menards SKU 2292845), other screws may work better but this is what I had on hand. The tension rod I have is from Menards and the SKU is 7896048.
