I had a need to fit some lighting fittings. The wiring is simply via screw blocks. Instead of using purpose built terminal blocks (of which I had none on hand), I designed and printed a couple of custom screw terminal block boxes. The box serves the purpose to keep them electrically safe from their surrounds.
The box design consists of two halves. There are cutout openings for a pair of power wires to feed from either side of the box. The box is designed to work with a standard 20mm screw block. The fitted case is intended to be left loose in the working space (ahhh!) or perhaps, can be secured with double side tape to the nearest rafter.
The box two halves press together with a friction fit. To ensure that the halves don't unexpectedly separate over time, a single 3.5mm x 20mm self-tapping screw secures the parts together.
My print is made with TPU 1.75mm Aurarum purple filament, with 0.2mm layer height and 15% infill on a PRUSA I3 MK3S printer. No printing rafts nor
