My second design from scratch - First attempt at Param OpenScad Script...
Generates a 3 sided project box, with SLOTS down each wall...
Slots accomidate wire without fishing through holes-
Typically wires are joined with matching wire from opposite side of channel...
The terminal strips make solid connections - wire channel keeps things organized and somewhat shelded.
May or may not use cover plate.
I have mounted cover plate - then used Velcro between it and channel - allowing for easier access to terminals.
Initial need was for my custom E-Trike enclosure - battery, controller, charger all mounted in single HARD CASE - sitting under the rear Trike Basket. It is a hassle - when needing to unplug a throttle, Hall sensor, brake cables and the like. Their various sized connectors require pin removal so cable may be fished into enclosure during maintenance.
This wire channel along with terminal strips - allows quick removal these connectors, cutting off whatever
