Tesla Model S Wireless Charging Bracket

This is a simple bracket that enables you to use a wireless charger for your iPhone in the standard Tesla Model S center console. The console comes with a plug for your phone, but this is not a great solution. First, there is no rear support, so strong acceleration will knock your phone off the plug. Second, having to find the exact spot to place your phone to get it connected to the Lighting plug can be a challenge, and definitely distracting while you are driving.

My simple solution was a 2-part bracket that holds a single-coil wireless charger (7.5W for an iPhone) as well as providing a slot to drop your phone into to hold it in place on top of the charger. The 2 parts are held together with a screw. There are 2 parts to make it easy to change your phone model. Also, the bracket holds the MicroUSB plug in place, so it needs to be inserted before the parts are joined.
