Printable Tesla Valvular Conduit.
Used for a mechanical engineering CFD course, as a school project.
The valve was printed to make a real-life experiment with water going through the valve while measuring the mass of water to the time. This was done in both directions of the valve, and then compared with CFD simulation results to see how able you would be to fit the simulations to the real life.
The parts list includes both a single version of the part, and a two part split-version of the parts, so they can be printed on smaller printers. Remember to use a waterproof glue if you do the two part split-versions.
There is a large flow difference in one direction of the valve, compared with the other direction. So either you need to have enough pressure >5 bar on the water or you'll need to restrict the water flow. I used tape and a straw for that. The valve works really great.
Use PLA if you will do some sort of water proofing spray coat. Else, if your printer is good enou
