I made this clamp to hold a sub-mini micro switch with lever as the original proximity sensor on the Z axis died, I was able to get this switch from a local electronics supplier but im sure there is nothing special about them and can be bought any electronics stockist, ive provided a link to the one i bought for reference.

I simply cut away the dead proximity switch and worked out which 2 wires were the signal to the controller and soldered them to the micro switch.

I simply glued the switch to the printed part and then fine tuned it by pushing it up or down when clamped to the extruded aluminum frame of the printer.
