The purpose of this part is to make loading Filament easier. It does help but you still need to straighten the filament some and cut it at a 45. I make two 45 cuts. While this part reduces the number of places the filament can snag it can still be a hassle to load.
I used PLA with 100% infill. Since you want the part to be accurate, I printed it at 40 mm/s, with a layer height of .1mm and standing on its end. Although Simplify didn't think any supports were needed, I put a column under each of the two corners.
After printing it will need a little cleanup. Cut off the imperfections and ream/drill out the hole to make it clear. I used a 3/32 drill and turned it by hand. Then I used an Xacto knife on the input end of the hole to make sure it was clear and to give it a TINY chamfer.
In a perfect world there would be threads on the end instead of ribs, but they are a pain to draw, and I doubt the printer could resolve their tiny size. I was pleased that they did a good job of formi
