- I wanted to design a display/control box mount to attach to the top of my Tevo Tarantula, and also to minimise the need for other mounts and screws etc.
- I printed the main case at .2 layer height with supports. The supports set by Cura located themselves in the channels for the sliding back door, and also unexpectedly on the recessed spider. I removed both of these with the corner of a metal engineers ruler and it works really well.
- The back door was laid flat and printed with the same settings and only required smoothing of the edges that would contact with the main body (I used 1200 grit wet and dry).
- The fixing holes for the board were made to allow the use of M3 machine screws (4 of), although i would recommend clearing the hole (by hand) with a 2.5 mm drill (just to ensure they are clear and free from debris before you attach the board). I also used the m3 screws to tap the holes before I even tried to attach the board.
- Last thing (Im aware im going on), the hol
