This replaces the springs that keep spinning when you try and adjust the bed level. You do not have to worry about that with these. You can adjust the bed level with one hand while the printer is printing.
If you are using any print surface that is very thick you may want to scale the Z axis down by 1% but not the X or Y.
I would also recommend a spider coupling if you use this on your bed.
