*NOTE: I made the round "post" longer to better secure holding the spool. a few of the drawings and pictures are showing a shorter post. (thanks to M. Rasmussen for the suggestion!)
After creating many spool holders, I found my favorite, simple is better! You can lay the spool down on it's side and the steel ball bearings allow it to spin easily. Another space saver is that it's made to set snuggley on TOP of the Tevo control box.
I'm including TWO versions, one piece that can be printed on its side, without supports, or two pieces (my original design) which also can be printed without supports, saves a little plastic and print time, but needs to be glued together. (see the blue and yellow 3d drawing)
This uses four 10mm steel ball bearings. really easy to find online or at an ACE Hardware. the holes are just the right size for them to snap in and stay!
I've also included an stl for each piece separately for the 2 piece, or both together in one stl file. so you can choose h
