I had trouble getting a strong enough wifi signal just one room over with TH3D's EZPi Pro so I took off the metal cover and made a plastic one. This solved my connection issues.
Modeled in OpenSCAD. I've replaced the top screws with pins that align with the screw holes.
A future iteration, soon since I want it, will include mounting bracket holes for M3 screws to attach the EZPi to the printer frame. This will probably require me adding the screw holes from the original aluminum case so the case doesn't fall off.
