When the Queen Mother wills it, this gate can be collapsed with a single invocation, unleashing a wall of thunderous ice and stone that sweeps entire armies into oblivion. This is not merely a wall — it is a loaded catastrophe. In The Shardhost of Hrímvath, The Avalanche Gate is one of winter’s final words — a kill-switch, a barricade, and a monument to the frozen inevitability of doom.
