Elevate your desktop with The Bastion Cube, a satisfying 3D-printed puzzle that blends architectural aesthetics with classic mechanical logic. Comprising 14 precision-engineered pieces, this puzzle challenges you to find the exact sequence required to lock all parts into a solid, fortress-like cube. Whether you're looking for a stylish fidget toy or a brain-teaser to test your friends, this model is designed for a perfect friction fit and a rewarding assembly experience. Print List & Components To complete the full cube, you need to print the following: Part A: 8 units. Part B: 2 units. Part C: 2 units. Part D: 1 unit. Part E: 1 unit. Technical Notes & Tips Tolerances: Depending on your printer's calibration, Parts B and C can be a snug fit. If they are too tight, a light sanding or a -0.1mm XY Compensation in your slicer will do the trick. Material: Works best in PLA for rigidity, but PETG offers a bit more "flex" for easier assembly. Scaling: Feel free to scale it up for a giant desk piece! Assembly Instructions Begin with two groups of four Part A pieces, interlocking them to form the base structure of the cube. Next, insert one Part B into each group. Once assembled, join the two groups together to create the cube’s framework. Finally, install both Part C components, and complete the assembly by adding Parts D and E. Bonus: Miniature Keychain Version Want to take the challenge on the go? Print all components at 30% scale. Replace one standard Part A with the Keychain Edition Part A (included) to attach it to your keys.
