Another spool holder for the Replicator 'Dual' and the Creator by CTC (other Makerbot clones as well of course).
Like it was done elsewhere, the spool is not placed on a axle but runs on rolls, for easy and quick changing. For rolls I am using ball bearings (diameter 15 mm, bore 6 mm), which are held by "forks". Per filament roll two holders have to be printed.
There are three versions for either the CTC Creator or the Makerbot Replicator Dual: One where You have to add an axle yourself (6 mm diameter) and two versions that include some pins for holding the ball bearing.
For the versions with the pins/axles included use a hot air gun to heat up the forks. Once done, bend the branches of the forks a little bit until You can insert the ball bearings and restore the branches again. If You got the forks too tight and the bearing won't turn just re-heat the plastic and bent it so that the bearings fit.
ERRATA:
Although seemingly CTC have meticuously copied the Replicator they ha
