Looking for a customizable and fully adjustable spool holder?
Well look no further! Here is the perfect design for you...
// Independently adjustable Ball Bearing sliders for smooth and quiet control
// Rigid yet modular construction
// Easily Interchangeable crossbars for variable width
// Compatible with any Dry Box (Makes an excellent companion for Multi Material Printers!)
What you'll need to find...
// 608 Ball Bearings (4x per roll of filament to be stored)
(20x in the example)
// 5/16" Diameter Metal Rod (2x)
(17.125in for each in the example, according to the box I used. However, yours might be longer or shorter depending on what you enclose it with, or how many spools you want to add to it. In theory, it’s infinitely expandable. Might be a fun challenge to see who makes the longest version!)
// 3D printer filament (Though you probably knew that, lol)
(5 rolls in the example)
// (Optional) A Dry Box
