the Whatever Fan
================
a fan with a large flat horizontal surface for whatever needs cooling. or tilt it on it's side to use as a personal fan.
This was designed specifically to fit the 80mm "Thermaltake Mobile Fan II Adjustable Speed External USB Cooling Fan." The black & orange one. I also included generic 80mm fan versions.
print .STL files oriented as is.
the BASE holds up the fan and allows air intake from below. this base also has side feet for tilted fan support and a thin minimal fan guard to keep wires & other stuff clear of the fan blades when it is tilted.
print 2 FanCLIP2 to hold the top & base together.
put the Whatever SCREEN in the top piece.
FanScreenClips are optional.
metal fan guards must be removed.
there will be a thin printed fan guard on the bottom.
__________
BASE, TOP & FanCLIP
.2mm layers
.4mm linewidth
20% infill
support everywhere
a Brim maybe
SCREEN
.2mm layers
.6mm linewidth (with a .4mm nozzle)
print only wall
