When you are designing a new part, sometimes it is hard to know which exact wall tickness you should choose. These parts give you a good idea how strong your particular material is in the different wall thicknesses.
They can also double as a thickness gauge for when something is hard to measure with the caliper. Although they might be a bit big for this.
Especially interesting for TPU, but of course useable for all kinds of materials. I printed it with PLA.
Remember, that number of perimeters and infill will also greatly influence the strength of your part, not only the wall thickness. So print these with the settings you also intend to use for your part. I printed them with the standard slicer settings, so I have a baseline. If a certain thickness is too soft/hard, I can adjust the perimeters or infill accordingly.
The pictures show my first test with written letters. I only printed one example with the printed letters.
A little box for storage is included.
size: 25mm
