Thingiverse Font is a typeface composed of objects from thingiverse.com itself.

The selected objects were found under the category "3D Printer Parts" and belong to the vast selection of printable objects intended for customising or upgrading 3D printers.

All of the files that the characters in the Thingiverse Font are based on have been selected for their sculptural qualities as well as their likeness to glyphs and numeric digits in a standard typeface. Some redrawing, rescaling and simplification has been done to the objects for practical reasons.
