Thread melting aid

Welcome designers and makers, I have designed a thread melting aid. With the help of the device, brass thread inserts can be melted straight into the respective printed part with the intended hole diameter.Depending on the size of the printed part, the printed part can either be placed on the base of the device for the melting process or the melting aid can be placed on the printed part. If several thread inserts are to be melted at the same height and these are to be flush with the component surface, a stop can be set so that they can always be melted at the same height. I recommend printing the melting aid with PLA-CF due to its stiffness, but you can also use any other stiff filament you like. In addition to the printed parts, the following components are required: - Item profile: 20x20x200mm- Stop bar: brass, d=6mm, l=150mm- Lens head screw: M5x12- Lens head screw: M3x20- Countersunk screw: M5x12- Tension spring: l=100mm (In my case: selfmade)- Nut: M3- Knurled screw: M5x30- Solder
