This model is a remix of WF3D’s Crystal Egg available on Printables (https://www.printables.com/model/160757-crystal-egg), modified to incorporate a threaded joint at the center, inspired by ViperXT's Threaded Crystal Egg (https://www.printables.com/model/445665-threaded-crystal-egg).
To achieve a high-quality surface finish, the egg has been hollowed out and a narrow slit has been introduced along selected facet edges. This design forces vase mode to generate exactly two continuous perimeters throughout the model. As a result, the model is well suited for printing with large nozzle diameters (tested up to 1.2 mm).
The STL features a uniform wall thickness of 2.0 mm and is optimized for a line width of 1.0 mm, producing an egg with a total height of 151 mm. When using a 0.4 mm nozzle, good results were achieved with a line width of 0.6 mm and scaling the model to 50%.
For best results, adaptive layer height and appropriate minimum layer time settings are recommended to ensure clean
