Thrift Store Lighthouse -- Digitized!

Here's our fourth scan with the MakerBot Digitizer. We're building the Digitizer to be an affordable, simple 3D scanning tool that fits on your desktop and works perfectly with our MakerBot Desktop 3D Printers. This lighthouse we found at a local Thrift Store shows the progress we've made so far on delivering great depth resolution. The lighthouse has subtle textures that are beautifully captured in our scan. Many of the organic textures found on the original model lighthouse can be found in the resulting scan. Note! The downloadable file here is actually much more accurate than the photo indicates. We re-scanned this object with two lasers and got a great result.
