The ThrustTool is a DIY tool for measurements of an electric motor with propeller. It allows to measure thrust, torque, rotation speed, battery voltage and current.
The tool is built around two load cells - in the version I have built I used: 1kG for torque and 2kG for thrust - they allow measurements with resolution around 0.1G for thrust and 0.25 Gcm for torque.
The measurements are performed by the custom electronic board and managed by PC application. The custom board can be replaced by a standard STM32 Nucleo F401RE board with additional 2 load cell ADCs HX711.
