Thule Fairing Spacer

I made this spacer because the sunroof on my car would get hung-up when trying to close on the little feet at the bottom of the fairing mount. The spacer fits perfectly into the open space on the underside of each fairing mount. The slope on the spacer causes the sunroof to push the fairing up and out of the way so it can close.

I have a Jetta Sportwagen with the panoramic sunroof. Because the sunroof size extends further forward then most cars the fairing ends up being positioned ontop of the sunroof when mounted. This spacer allows for you to have the fairing on the car and still close the sunroof without any binding.

Directions:
1.) Print out 4 of these.
2.) If in direct sunlight coat with a UV resistant paint
3.) Enjoy the fresh air :)
