# Why a Tool for Thumbtacks?
The Thumbtack Jack is a tool, which helps to place and remove thumbtacks. Thumbtacks are useful e.g. to place posters on a wall, but often it is difficult to get them into the wall and even more difficult to remove them without damaging the poster. If you put the thumbtack in the wall completely, it will be difficult to remove it later. If you don’t put it in completely, the poster only hangs on the tip of the thumbtack and gets damaged easily.
# How does the Tool solve these Issues?
With the tool, you can use your whole hand to press the thumbtack into the wall instead of only one finger, which allows you to apply much more force. The thumbtacks are equipped with a small plastic ring, which presses the poster against the wall, but also makes it possible to easily remove the thumbtack later. The tool is hollow, so you can store the thumbtacks inside.
