For the best results, I recommend using 3mm birch plywood or colored acrylic to make the engraved details pop. The set includes a matching backplate that can be glued to the grid to create a sturdy, self-contained game board. Maker Tips Material: 1/8" (3mm) Plywood is the "gold standard" here, but using two different colors of acrylic for the tokens would make them very easy to distinguish during play. Assembly: Use a tiny amount of wood glue to bond the grid frame to the solid backplate. Finishing: A quick spray of clear lacquer will protect the wood from smudges during those intense campfire matches!
