TIE Royal Guard is an upgraded TIE Interceptor used by Emperor's Royal guard. It was equipped with a built-in hyperdrive and shield generator.
The first version TIE Royal Guard was exactly the same model as TIE Interceptor but painted in crimson red color. In the later version, It has been installed with small solar panels on each wing to provide a bit more energy and some modification such as some special armaments or technologies which makes this TIE much more deadly than usual.
