Timber Birdhouse - Tree Swallow

Well vented and easy to clean tree swallow bird house with a 35mm entrance hole. The roof is simply attached to the base by aligning the rails and pushing lightly. When attached the roof will stay firmly in place and provide excellent shelter and air flow through the peak, eaves, and drainage holes in floor. The roof detaches by prying slightly on the eaves and pulling up. Recommend printing in natural colors, and UV coat exterior with Krylon if using PLA. 10% Infill is used to provide insulation with additional added in the peak to support repeated removals. Updated May 2025: Consolidated profiles and updated model. Profile includes diamond base and box base, both feature easy egress ladders for the young and a 35 mm entrance hole for Tree Swallows. Additional adapters are provided to make the entrance hole smaller for different species.
