Time-Turner

I created this design for my school’s production of *Harry Potter and the Cursed Child: High School Edition.* After countless hours of revisions and over $60 spent on reprints, I finally arrived at this finished version. My goal is to share this design and guide with theaters worldwide, saving others from the long, trial-and-error process I experienced. I hope fellow designers can use this as a foundation, adapting and improving it to suit their unique productions.
There are three primary cylinders with a central rod that runs through each. To prevent the middle cylinder from rubbing against the outermost one and ensure smooth rotation, I created a small, flattened disc of hot glue with a hole in the center as a spacer to hold it in place. Additionally, the design includes an optional spinning mechanism for the actor to hold and rotate, as well as two lids and a hinge to complete the structure.
