This is an accessory compartment (with a lid) for tiny whoop stuff.
It hase place for 12 1S-lipos, three 18650 cells, a tiny screwdriver, a USB charger and a lipo checker.
I use mine also to sort the lipos by charging status. If the lipo is full, the connector points inwards, empty pointung outwards.
The 18650 with the positiv pole to the top shows its full.
The model also has three holes in the bottom to press the 18650 out if they are stuck.
