Hi, this is my submission for #TakeFlightChallenge (Reuploaded, due to not submitting properly,)
This design is based on Tom Stanton's "Super Capacitor Wind-Up Plane".
This Design requires Tissue paper and hot glue (unless you have a large format printer) *I was unable to print the Full Plane*
Lay a layer of tissue paper on your bed and secure it with painter's tape (masking tape) ensure no large wrinkles.
Print the design directly on top of the tissue paper without a raft.
Before Printing ensure Wings and Body are Printed Separated,
The wings need to be printed on Tissue Paper.
Inspiration
Tom Stanton "Super Capacitor Wind-Up Plane" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-4X6KYlQ7YQ&t=565s)
*Note* The creator does have a .stl file available for printing, I did not use the files for the creation of this model. This model was made with methods and visual design based on the video.
If you would like to edit this design here is the onshape file so its Easier to edit
