I spent 2 evenings modeling the Titanfall 2 Pulse Blade based on some concept graphics of our favorite throwable. More render images are available here:

Designing done in Fusion 360 with 3D printing in mind. The whole thing should easily and nicely print on any FDM and resin printer. 4 Parts total, I've designed both a basic version and electronics version which fits an LED at the back of the blade, switch to arm/disarm it and a small battery to power it.
Instructions:
Parts:
5mm diameter LED of your chosen color (I'll go with red, you might even go with RGB if you manage to fit a driver inside of the pulse blade)
ESP 10xx/20xx/30xx switch to turn it on/off (They're all 10x2.5mm and 6.5mm tall with the pins)
4xM3 screws and nuts for assembly
Epoxy
A battery of your choice (Max dimensions are 55mm length and 18mm diameter as this is the size of internal electronics compartment)
