Toboggan Buckle Replacement

I have a toboggan that broke a buckle on the part that wraps around my ears and fastens under my chin. To keep from cutting the fabric, I made the Toboggan Buckle Replacement so the wind will quit making the ear covers flop around.

Original: 7/8 inch wide x 1/8 inch opening with an 1/8 inch gap in the middle for the strap

V2: 5/8 inch wide x 1/8 inch opening with an 1/8 inch gap in the middle for the strap

V2 fits mine better, but I figured V1 may be useful too.
