I have created this simple piece to see what tolerance we should give in the design so that one piece fits with another. It is a 10mm round and square plug and holes with tolerances of 0-0.3mm in horizontal and vertical direction. For example, in my case it fits well at 0.15mm, so for a 30mm plug i should have a hole of 30.15mm in the design.
