I received a Husky tool chest from a family member that had a drilled out lock cylinder. It made it difficult to open because the key and cylinder opened the rear mechanism that locked the drawers. While this lock cylinder does not have pins and is not as secure as a real lock, it does the job of opening the mechanism in the back of the tool chest and also locks them to make it safer when moving around and also mildly secure. The male threads go in the hole from the back side. Then the cylinder goes through from the outside, while inserting the locking bar into the cylinder. The outer threads then get screwed on locking it all in place.Bobs your uncle, use key and enjoy
