This shroud is built to blow from two directions (instead of one general direction as most shrouds do).
The difference between this one and other dual-direction-fan shrouds is that it does not collide the air-flow on top of the nozzle (stagnating it), it blows to each side of it, creating a vortex/tornado.
This way the air keeps moving, and still does not come only from one direction, not creating an un-even hard wind that can move aside the molten plastic.
Since the shroud have a rather high air-speed, it seems to give a little bit more stringing than other shrouds, but cools the object well non the less.
The main benefit of this shroud is thus to cool the object effectively but still not only from one direction.
Test-prints used for evaluation is the below items. Both printed in 0.2lh, standard quality profile in Slic3r PE.
