Finger tight?!?! Is that that british or imperial units? What does that mean exactly? My 2 year old can do finger tight that breaks some things, she is insanely strong!
These wrenches, size 1/2, and 7/16 inches, should yield at the calculated torque shown. 10 inch pounds of force, is not a lot, so I think finger tight would be around this amount. Imagine applying 1 pound of force to one end of a ruler, the force on the other end of the ruler is 12 pounds. Physics is awesome!
They are also plastic, and very light weight. NASA, U.S. Military, I'm thinking of you. Wouldn't it be great to have lightweight disposable tools in space? Yes, it would! Wouldn't it be great to reduce the amount of weight a soldier needs to carry? Yes, it would!
P.S. I calculated the torque required for the plastic to yield, based on PLA, not Nylon based filament. This is only an estimate.
