Towel Rail Extender

My bathroom has a rail that can fit only one towel. What if you want to dry 2 towels?

Well you could buy and install a second towel rail (assuming you have space in your bathroom to fit another), or you could attach a second rail to the first one!

This design prints in 3 pieces that you screw together. You will need to print 2 sets - one for each end of the rail.

A simple rail that matches my existing rail is quite cheap at a hardware shop. This design is customisable to suit various parameters. You can change:
* The diameter of the existing rail
* The diameter of the rail you are adding
* The lengths of the different pieces
* The diameter of the screw holes (currently designed to suit m3 screws)
* Various other things

The piece that rests against the wall holds the extension piece up. Use your Pythagoras to work out the length of the wall piece. The piece I fitted was at a 60 degree angle to vertical. With the distance from the wall and the angle, you should be able t
