Toy Cup

This is a Toy Cup for children to play with. Toy Cup is one of the first models I created for my child, but I did not think to present it for the enjoyment of others. Afterall, what is special enough about a humble toy cup that others should want to have one of their own? The passing of time revealed the folly of my arrogance. Slowly I began to appreciate the elegant design of the Toy Cup, the sweeping curve that gracefully contours itself into hands both tiny and large. I marveled at its sturdy construction; bouncing off the floor, the walls, my head, all without deformation or damage. I stood in awe of its ability to hold not only imaginary liquids, but toy utensils, toy food, hairbands, tubes of acrylic paint, the letter T, her foot, anything and everything my child could stuff inside. Finally, I realized that Toy Cup is not just a cup, but also a hat, a glove, a musical instrument, a face mask, and a shoe. Granted, it is terrible at being a hat, glove, musical instrument, face mask
