Toy Microphone

My daughter requested a microphone for her pop star costume and I decided to design one for her.

I sliced the top grille in Slic3r and printed without any support. As I wanted to do a color change for the shaft and bottom grille, I sliced that part in PrusaControl and to support the lip in the grille connection I printed with support but the the software insisted on support to the bottom of the shaft as well. I designed it so that it should not be needed and other slicers may be able to slice it without the central support column.

To spruce it up a little I also printed a white diffuser and added a color changing led light at the bottom. I have added a 46mm sphere in the package. Take it into your favorite slicer and slice the bottom 9mm of it if you have a similar led light as mine and superglue it to the diffuser.

In addition to the light I knew she would like to add some "gems" so I added 8 x 4mm diameter indents in the grille to accommodate them.
